A ghoulish specter, or is it spectre, haunted our dreams last night. But when we awoke, the future was clear! And in a monotone, but confident voice, we professed:
“We think there is a resurgence of boycotts because at this point in time the American grocery industry has not yet learned about diversity, religious freedom, and consumer choice.
And we think that we are going to be part of the throes of that transformation, which must take place. The American grocery industry is not going to be the monolithic kosher-certified market it once was in the last century. Identitarians are going to be at the center of that. It’s a huge transformation for supermarkets and food producers to make.
They will be going into a diversity mode where NKC products and consumer choice thrive, and religious freedom rules. KosChertified and identitarians will be resented because of our leading role. But without that transformation, the supermarket will not survive.”
And then we went downstairs and poured ourselves a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice – some we made ourselves with our juice blender.
Author’s Note: NKC = NOT Kosher-Certified Diversity Mode = NKC equivalents for all products having religious certifications (e.g. Kellogg’s Corn Flakes is kosher-certified; Diversity mode will ensure that Kellogg’s produces an equivalent Corn Flakes product that is not kosher-certified, because the company cares for the fact that we consumers are not all of the same faith and identity, and that we do not all follow the same ancient religious laws).
